Hydration Depot was founded by Melissa Schechter, whose career has long been rooted in workplace safety, OSHA compliance, and supporting the professionals responsible for protecting crews in the field. Early in her career, Melissa built a company that became one of the early platform acquisitions during Cintas' entry into the first aid services business, an expansion that helped shape what is now one of the largest workplace safety and first aid service networks in North America.
Through that experience, Melissa spent years working directly with safety managers, operations leaders, and organizations responsible for protecting large workforces, gaining firsthand insight into how safety programs operate in the real world. One challenge surfaced again and again: Keeping crews properly hydrated during the hottest months of the year. Not occasionally. Not reactively. But consistently, reliably, and at scale.
